That\u2019s why it\u2019s worth knowing how to simplify your holiday and make it more enjoyable for your little one. Who knows maybe this is how a real traveller is born<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-9de63b0026eed8e9e9f68d7f66209d84\">For years, we\u2019ve been welcoming families with children on our tours, and we always ask parents for their best tips for travelling with kids. Here are some of the most important ones we\u2019ve heard:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-0f7c8d2424415a861db24ffd0ff45770\">Bring a light stroller or a baby carrier (heavy prams don\u2019t work well and only make getting around more difficult),<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-cb446c1e33719e8e0b1350ba20927aab\">Equip your child with mosquito-repellent wristbands or other proven repellents (mosquitoes can bite a lot, especially at night),<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-a521d1ffae11cb15a18c89eb319b0990\">Pack light-coloured hats, preferably with a brim or visor (sunscreen alone may not be enough for delicate skin, and a visor is useful if your child doesn\u2019t like wearing sunglasses),<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-fa3fd8dec9bd32e91c0d5611252c8858\">Don\u2019t forget to bring trusted remedies for stomach aches and indigestion, such as Espumisan or Smecta (Greek food is different and a small tummy may need time to adjust),<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-dd3612f73fe896631e7741f0c8b89216\">Take favourite toys, beach buckets and moulds, water guns, colouring books and crayons,<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-306aa935a5cdfe4a8f1ea02c8d5d9da9\">Be sure to buy UV 50 sunscreen from a trusted brand (ideally from a pharmacy), especially between June and August,<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-4fbd7a5ab2b576d5cdf2817e9f252353\">You may also want to bring your child\u2019s favourite herbal tea (the selection of teas in Greece is limited and there are no anti-colic teas),<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-140295a96874ca43e21b60f99f2ddfa3\">Water shoes or beach shoes can be very useful preferably fabric ones with a rubber sole rather than fully plastic (the sand can get extremely hot and it\u2019s better to protect little feet),<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-b0f20493927de8d9e4a2b23251e64761\">Once there, consider getting a beach umbrella, as many beaches have no natural shade or sunbeds,<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-d7ff539ccc241e405174e72f31898095\">Anti\u2013motion sickness lollipops are a great solution for children who struggle during coach or minibus rides (e.g. ginger-based ones),<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-dd47215dfe6cb4ad3b49eaea7beb890d\">And most importantly &#8211; relax.
